I have an 8'-lw GN with a plain ol' DR. I have no plumbing or tanks.
I love the idea of installing the little cabinet in the bulkhead wall between the DR and horse area. Can that be used WITH one of the propane-powered portable hot showers, by attaching the outlet water hose from the water heater to the back of the cowboy shower cabinet, so that I stand in the horse area and shower while the "inner workings" are in the DR?
I put the Zodi Hotman Extreme on my Christmas list, but I imagine the hand-pump system would be the main issue with this one. The regular Zodi would probably be a better choice IF y'all say the above suggestion would work.

By the video it looks to have an open flame meant for outdoors not indoors.
I wouldn't put in a room especially if I couldn't see what was happening with it. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Looks like you would heat water up outside then remove from heat pump it up and spray.

We use the ZODI unit in the first stall but leave the burning part out on the fender and run the hose inside.I didnt feel safe having flame in side on wood floor with hay nearby as well.It only takes a few minutes to set up but well worth the effort to have a hot shower at the end of the day.

I used a Zodi in the back of the horsetrailer for a couple years. Then bought a Coleman HWD which was more practical for other uses as well. Too bad you're not closer, I would cut you a deal on a Zodi. The other option I have done is heat water up and pour it in a white 5 gal bucket, using a Coleman battery pack camp shower ($25 at Kmart) drop it in the bucket for an instant pressured shower.

I have the zodi hot camp shower. I have the one with 2 tanks. That was over kill. I only use one tank with it and have to turn it way down because the water is so hot. I would suggest getting this model because u can recycle the water and not waste it. Water is valuable when camping. You can put the sprayer back into the bucket while soaping up. Attach is a link for a good price on them. I hang mine up with a bungie cord from the ceiling when i am using it in the back of my trailer.
