Where would I go to get my trailer axles looked at? I think they might be torqued or even bent since the inside of the tires wear a lot quicker than the rest of the tire.We have a trailer dealer in town, but they are expensive for repair work, and hard to get into. We have alot of agricultural type businesses in town as well as truck repair places. Suggestions?

By chance have any friends in the trucking business? Ask them where they have their alignments performed. Aligning a HD vehicle is a specialty, and one of their technicians will likely have some experience on a unit like yours. By the way- Dexter does not authorize any alignment adjustments on torsion axles they've produced. If it is not properly aligned, replacement is the norm. (They're not unusual, Eaton, a popular maker of HD truck axles, doesn't either). RTSmith

Look for an automotive body shop that has a frame straightening service. They will be able to take accurate measurements and check the diagonals for proper alignment and wheel geometry.

Have you tried Maupins right there in your town. There's also a place in Garden City right east of peterbilt, R & R Frame and Axle (in the Feist) that I'm sure does that kind of stuff.
