I want to redo my boring striped wallpaper around the kitchen. My friend thought it looked like contact paper and not wallpaper. Does any one know what it is? It is something that is applied in the kitchen only and different from the rest of the trailer. It is a Sundowner Trailblazer 111

Don't know why no one has answered, but it probably isn't wall paper. It is probably a type of plywood that has the vinyl wall covering glued to it, and is then put up. You CAN wallpaper over it, and it may or may not stick. Mine didn't even tho I used paste for vinyl wallpaper, like putting up borders. I ended up contact gluing my covering to a very thin luan and putting that over it.

You would be so surprised!! There are folks on here that already have their trailers done up like model homes. With wallpaper. There was someone on here that I expected to kick in already that has a website for that. Can't remember who it was. I put cute wallpaper in mine, but it started peeling a little after 4 years or so, so I took it off and put up the covered luan. I used a microsuede that looks like carved leather.
Oh, and when I pulled out some of the old original wall covering, it does look a lot like contact paper. It was solid vinyl.

No one has answered because no one cares about wallpaper but me being into interior design has to have my trailer looking like a model home
OMG! All my friends call my stock trailer the pimp mobile because of what I've done inside the dressing room! I'm glad to know someone's out there like me.
