We are trailer shopping and want to down size. I have posted on this site and another one what we are looking for. What are some questions I should be asking to weed out the scammers? It is a shame you have to be on your toes but there are so many out there now, we cannot afford to get taken.

If it sounds too good to be true, well, you know.
Key things...they will sell it for x which includes shipping.
It is to be handled through eBay warehouse. There is no eBay warehouse.
They won't let you come see it.
The trailer is in a different location than the owner because of divorce, storage or shipping out to Iraq.
These are just a few keys to look for with scammers. If you think they may be, ask if the trailer has the self cleaning option, or if it has tail hooks. If they say yes, run!
