There was a horrible accident near my home this morning. It involved a gooseneck horse trailer and a semi truck.

The Dodge truck (trailer's power unit) came unhithced from the gooseneck.

The horse was killed.

I never want to see such a horrible mess again. I just cried when I saw the horse's body laying next to the trailer.

Everyone please drive carefully! {{{HUGS}}}

I wouldn't want to see that accident either. It could have been anyone of us.

All because of a simple stop sign! We are going round and round with the oil field and rock truck drivers around here on these small County Roads.. None of them know what a speed limited or stop sign is!

Ironic because we were on the way back from having our A/C unit checked on our trailer when we came across a truck/horse trailer accident.From the looks of it,some young cowboy dudes rearended someone,their dually was already loaded on the back of the car hauler,and,the trailer unhitched and 4 horses were standing tied to it.Guess they were flying and not paying attention because there were numerous signs saying "ONE LANE TRAFFIC" the highway dept.was out working.

Don't know about the injuries of the people involved.Sure did mess up their riding/roping/whatever plans.

I just think people are to lazy to read.  I got hit Friday by a guy running a stop sign.  He actually didn't run it, he stopped and then went.  I guess he didn't read the sign that said cross traffic doesn't stop.   Didn't hurt my truck but messed up his front bumper.  He didn't even get a ticket for it.
