I stopped by the Turnbow factory in Oilton, OK to get some parts for my Turnbow Cross Country trailer. I met with Carl Turnbow the owner and his son CD (a great bunch of folks). They gave me a flyer showing Mine That Bird in front of the Turnbow used to haul him. No doubt they had the trailer set up as box stalls, hauling them loose in that manner is the norm, let the horse find his comfort spot...

Nice folks. I met them as well, and they talked about their long history (and famous history) of making horse trailers. They wanted to advertise with us - but it just never happened.

Would love to own one of their trailers. They are among the few willing to do a truly custom design on the horse part of the trailer. I toured the factory years ago and continue to look at them at shows they attend. They are gracious every time and willing to visitabout their trailers, even knowing I don't have my checkbook open. I have to tell you, that is not a commonplace experience. I have had many dealers just walk off while I was trying to discuss features and options when I WAS trying to buy.
