I'm buying a new trailer without a tv and mount.  Any suggestions on the best tv's for travel/mobile use, and swing arm mounts?  Where do you get the mounts that have the velcro strap to hold them against the wall while in transit?  I don't need anything bigger than a 19" tv.

I bought my last one from Amazon. Got the 12v version with DVD player, that way I can watch it without running a gen or plugging in. I think it's an Audiovox, but not sure without going out and looking. They had a swing out wall mount bracket that was recommended with that TV so I bought it also. Very pleased with it and I really like the 12v feature so that I don't have to have the 110 going. Make sure the one your looking at will receive the digital signal. I looked local but couldn't find 12v flat screen TV's so that's why I went to Amazon. I think it's 15" and can run on 110 also if you want. It's great for weekend rodeoing!!! Can hook a digital camcorder up to it and have a very clear picture of the events. Good luck

Thanks!  Do you have the velcro straps to hold it against the wall/cabinet while in motion?  I've seen these on some new trailers I looked at.

I have a 19" LG that I put on a swivel arm that works pretty well. The arm is rated for a much larger and heavier tv which I think is probably a very good idea in a trailer. I put a couple of hooks in and use a flat bungee strap to hold it against the wall while moving, the lower hook is actually behind the tv so the bungee supports quite a bit of the weight when its fastened.

If you care about picture quality watch out for the all in one units with the built in dvd, most I've seen have lower resolution.

I have one very similar to it in my Sportchassis. You can contact Robbie in parts at Sportchassis.com to see if they have any they are selling. Sometimes they put that kind of stuff up on Ebay.

I was lucky, it was in this trailer when I bought it last year. (this is our repo Sundowner I bought CHEAP)

ebay has the same type set up, just read the fine print and make sure they are not refurb. units.  Mine does not have the dvd built into it, I have a am/fm/cd/mp3 dvd player mounted in the side cabinet with 6 speakers inside and 2 outside. Sounds like a movie theather.

Yeap,

can watch it in bed and you can turn it just right and can see it from the bed and the sleeper sofa too.  We love it, really clear picture!
