Which is better? I just bought a LQ Trailer that is prewired for a generator. Not sure which one to put in. Also what size do I need. It is a 10 ft sw with one Ac/heater ducted. Thanks!

I can't say which one is better.  I would think that gasoline would be more convenient, though.

well we have an lp generator and the nice thing is that everything runs off of one supply you dont have to fill gas tanks then propane tanks also...just do one fill and thats it..but if you have an oven or stove, heat, fridge,ac,shower, and generator your going to need at least 2 tanks...we have 4 tanks under or gooseneck...but we can also go a long long time on 4 tanks...to sum it up we love having LP for everything....

I've had both in the Onan brand. I like the gas just because it's convenient to fill. I just top it off when I fill my truck, pull up and get it at the same time. 20 gallons of gas seems to run about the same amount of time as my 100# propane bottle did. I had a seperate bottle for my gen. It was in the rear tack above the gen. It weighed 167# when full and was a bit of a hand full to get in and out. Also it seems the gas starts a little better. We use our generator at least a couple times a month so I don't worry too much about the gas getting old, I do add Seafoam additive a couple times a year. 3600lp and 4000gas watts has been good for me though we can max it out with my daughters hair drier and other stuff running with the ac on also!!!!

LOL!! It's like that around here in the mornings... I almost have to phone the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant and get them to jack the control rods out of the uranium bundle so she can get her hair dry!!! Poor little EF3000iSE/B Yamaha catches the devil on horse show weekends!

I have an LP and would trade it off in a heartbeat. Last weekend we froze becasue the Propane on the generator froze. Both tanks froze up over night. .... I Just bought an additional generator to use ....

I have had it worked on 2x... still same results. Never ever again@!
