Has anyone used those hitch extenders that move your gooseneck pin back from your ball? They are supposed to make your short bed truck better able to make tight turns.

Do they work pretty well? Do they move your pin weight back further on your truck?

Curious because we are thinking about buying a long bed truck for our 8' wide trailer, but if this would work, it would be a lot cheaper than a new (used) truck. They are hard to find. I have only found three within 100 miles and still not sure if I want to spend the money.

Thanks in advance.

I have the SB1 extender hitch on my 3H 8ft LQ Exiss. My truck is a SB F250. It's is worth every penny!!! I haven't had any problems at all. It moves the connector back 9 inches and it makes a world of difference...Plus it's cheaper than a new tuck.....
