Thats a good thing. With all of the trailer mfg's closing doors, seems chapter 11 will keep Monaco and Bison open for business. I think Bison has a pretty good following of customers, I heard Monaco is looking at offers for Bison. I wonder who that is?

for the buyers it would probably only be one of the two powerhouses left. They would have to have deep pockets. I think that they would just try to buy Bison and not the Monaco name(too much debt) I do hope that they would buy Bison is a good product. I have enjoyed mine for years. JUST A OPINION.

Bison is owned by Monaco Coach just as Roadmaster trailer is. Bison will be sold separately from Monaco. Probably the only division that was making money last year.

According to inside sources, Bison is likely to be bought out. It was doing well. And their actions will likely make them survivors as Chapter 11 protects them.
Monaco Coach and the RV world?
Not so much.
I might add . . . there aren't too many that are "doing well" right now. Those you hear taking actions will likely survive. It's those you don't hear about, that could well quietly close their doors without a single rumor.

Sad to see a good one go, I hope the BK filling will give them some breathing room and maybe find a buyer or reorg and sell some product. If we could get the credit markets moving we could do deals. There is lots of cash out there just sitting on the sideline with nowhere to go.
