Subject: Plexiglas Horse Trailer Panels

I want to seal my new trailer with plexiglas or?, but I have no idea where to buy it at. I have pictures of my trailer is someone can give me an idea of where to buy this stuff. I just bought the trailer and it needs painted, but atleast its not rusty.

Any glass shop and most hardware stores carry plexiglass. Aslo home improvement centers.

Might want to consider lexan.  It doesn't break like plexiglass will, but it will cost slightly more than plexiglass.  Any flat glass shop should be able to help you out.

Any glass place should carry it.Take or call ahead with measurements and they will cut it for you .

Lexan is an excellent product and almost indestructible. It can be easily cut and shaped with conventional wood working tools. That's the good news. The bad news is its cost. It sells for more than double the cost of standard acrylic sheets of the same thickness. A year ago, a single Lexan 4' x 8' x 1/4" sheet cost in excess of $250, double that from the previous year. Acrylic will work well for the window panels.

I had a stock trailer that I put plexiglass slats in it.We did the cutting ourselves with a jig saw and taping the glass so it wouldn't split. I used window channeling for the channels to slide the glass into.Just screwed the channels to the trailer using metal screws. It worked pretty good.
