My mother just bought an 08 F350 - 4 door short bed to haul her 05 Hart trailer, she was hauling the trailer with an 04 Chevy 2500HD. Will she likely have bed side clearance issues with this set up? What do you do to fix the issue if she does? The truck is being imported from the US (to Canada) so she's hasn't had a chance to hook it up to the trailer yet - I just though someone here may know the answer already. Thanks

We had that same problem with our 2008 Ford 450. We solved it by using a raised air ride hitch to give 4" of more space between the toprail of the bed and the trailer neck. We found out about the air ride Cody Hitch for the B&W turnover system here thru an Mr Truck. We love it since it gets rid of almost all of the extra "bounce" you get from the tongue weight of a GN trailer. It also gives the horses a much better ride. Plus, it allows for the trailer neck coupler to be adjusted the same height so all three of our trucks and both of our GN trailers are all interchangable without any extra adjustments. LOVE IT!

humm, little late for that for her... it had a curt fold down ball installed today (I have the truck in Ontario now - she's coming to get it from Nova Scotia on the weekend). But I suppose the extra clearance gained with that could be had by adjusting the gooseneck on the trailer... but wouldn't that have the trailer riding uneven? When her old truck gets here (we are getting her Chevy to replace the 92) we can compare the box heights - hopefully it will not be an issue - just wanted to start the ball rolling with options incase it was. Thanks
