We're heading out at the end of the week for LBL. What is the diesel situation in TN? Should I be carrying some with me? Is it as bad as that?

Thanks!

Thanks Rose,

My Brother in Law said some friends had trouble finding fuel driving through TN and the news mentioned it. Seems maybe it's flowing better now and the price is a bit better than it is here. That's  a plus.

I'm having a  hard time finding diesel in Alabama. The pumps on the interstate are covered with bags.  Where the price should be on the big boards, it says 000.0  That's the first time I've ever seen that

That's good to know as our friends may head home that way as they wanted to look at a horse in Alabama.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'd say start looking for fuel 100 miles before you really need it. I do that anyway so I can hopefully find the best price available. From what I understand fuel is not a big issue except in the areas people panicked and drained the supply by not only filling their vehicles, but every fuel container they had available or could buy. Basically, out of fuel here, full tanks an hour away.

No shortage in West TN.  Diesel is 3.75 today.

I've heard of shortage between Nashville and Atlanta, but dont know for sure.

Weather is fine for camping, have fun.
