1994 4H Featherlite w/mid tack and an AC unit in dressing room. Shroud cracked off of AC unit, and I can't make out the brand or model number (Tecumseh motor on the inside though--22 1/4 x 32 1/4 x 13 1/4)). Any ideas on finding a new shroud? Or since I never use the AC unit should I take it off? Does the AC unit add a lot of drag?

I added an air conditioner to my 4 horse featherlite and I haven't noticed a difference. If there is a horse trailer or camper dealer near you take it there and see if they recognize it or can find a name on it.

I doubt you'll notice any difference in the drag, if you take it off you will have to install a vent and remove the wiring, I would say you are better off to replace the shroud.

Your best bet to identify the model of the unit is to roll through an RV deal. Surely one of the techs will know, and then you can order the replacement shroud. I replaced the shroud on my Coleman Mach III, about $140.

Was the AC put on by Featherlite originally? Might try them and see if they can tell you. I would think RV repair shops would be the best to find a replacement.
