I purchased a Bison Stratus Express (aluminum model) after I saw how well one survived a severe jacknife situation with the trcuk that was towing it. The driver hit black ice which caused the truck to come all the way around into the side of the trailer. It destroyed the truck (totaled it); but the trailer sustained skin damage only. If you take a look at the extreme neck structure of a Stratus or Stratus Express; and the bottom rail of this model, you will see why it didn't sustain more damage. The neck of this trailer is webbed together with structural steel tubing, much like Sundowner does there 720/725 series trailers. I thought it was probably an "overkill" built neck, until I saw the results of the accident. This is one strong built trailer !!
