Any one know if there is a big difference in weight between these two. I need a 2 horse because of the truck I have F150, however these are hard to find vs the choices in a 3 horse. I need advice about which trailers are light and great Lv pkg. New or old. I now use a Featerlight 2 Hrs BPand will need to sell or trade. Little knowledge re: these LQ

hi, i have a f-150 also 4.6...i'll warn u to have the trailer weighed before you buy it...i bought one that weighed 4800lb empty weight on title....my truck was having a lot of trouble with 2 horses in it...when i ran it over the scales..it was 6000' empty..(2h bison w/5ft sw)..maxed out my weight without any horses or camping gear..but of course now i love it too much to sell...time for another truck..LOL...good luck!

You seem to be asking the same questions that I am. I'm moving up from a steel stock (3300 pounds)to a 2 horse something. Hubby doesn't ride and I'd like to camp less primitive.-Jan

I think if you are really considering a LQ that is somewhat lighter, and smaller, your should look at the Logan weekender. I don't know if they make them anymore, but, it was something I considered when I lq shopped. No one had one in stock at the time. Very basic necessities. I have a 3 horse trails west lq and a F350 and that is still alot to deal with. Remember, it's not what you can pull, it's what you can stop.
