What are the going interest rates for LQ horse trailers? Got a quote of 8.24% but need to buy warranty to get this rate. If I don't get warranty it's 9%. The warranty is for 6 yrs. and is a total of $1068. Any feedback out there?

Yep, those are the rates right now. Try First Internet Bank of Indiana http://www.firstib.com/. You can save .25% by having the payment automatically withdrawn from your account - so the rate would be 8%.
Rates also depend amount of loan and years financed too; and of course your credit. I've been shopping around this week and I am shocked on the rates for "toys" versus cars/trucks.

Thanks for info. Only need to finance $24,000. Trailer dealer said the more you borrow the better the rates. Also said deals are better for 10 to 12 year terms.

The rates you were quoted are pretty acurate with today's market. Unfortunately, the rates are higher on "toys" than are cars/trucks. However, your rate is determined by your credit worthiness and the price and age of the unit -- not by whether or not you purchase a warranty. The purchase of "after-market" products should not change a rate you were quoted. Also, make certain you question the warranty. Some warranties only cover the horse portion of the trailer. They don't cover anything in the LQ. Some warranties also have large deductibles that may or may not have been disclosed to you. Make certain to find out all the details on it so you are not stuck with something you can't use.
