Thanks for posting this info. I had this happen to me on my horse trailer driving home from buying it used. The tires looked to be fine. The tread came off right down the center of the tire. A 2 hour trip took all day. I was unprepared to change a tire. No tools that would work for the trailer and the spare on the trailer was damaged. It has new tires all the way around it now. Or at least I think so. I'll have to check the date on them.

Yes,you probably remember  my thread "Thanks Officer Hicks" because we had to call on him when one of our 1995 tires on our 1995 Sooner 2H blew on Friday PM,10:30,Memorial Day Weekend,on James RIver Expressway at Springfield,MO.So we spent about 1/2 the day and lost out on riding plans that next AM getting new tires all around.

Darn,I KNEW we should have taken the Delta that had new tires on it!!!

My tires show 0707 I guess that means 7th week of 07?  My trailer was build date is 04/07 so if I am reading this right my tires was "new" tires just the wrong ones for this application.
