Hi all
Well some of you might already have read some of my other comments, but honestly this one takes the cake.
I live in South Africa and purchased a new Cherokee Tomahawk from Dave McAdoo at Tobruk Trailers in TN. You must realize that I have not seen the trailer, apart from pics which were sent me by Dave and the initial advert.
Dave has really restored my faith in humanity. we had lots of stumbling blocks along the way (mostly from shipping agents) and Dave just took them in his stride and made them go away.
The latest was that the trailer was due to be loaded on a ship - and all the arrangements were made for the delivery etc. (bear in mind that the trailer is in Tennesee and is shipped from Baltimore) only to be told that there was no space left on the ship.... Now this South African started to stress - I have paid for a trailer and cant get it onto a ship...
Anyway I eventually found another ship to bring my trailer home, only thing was there was no time to waste as it had to be there asap... Dave tried to get a driver to deliver it within the time given...but no go - no one was available.
Not perturbed - Dave hitched the trailer onto his own truck - drove through the night and delivered it himself (all 500 odd miles I believe)
WELL IF THAT IS NOT GOING THE EXTRA MILE THEN WHAT IS...
THANK YOU DAVE -
TO ANYONE NEEDING TO BUY A TRAILER - TOBRUK TRAILERS IS THE PLACE TO GO.....
