I just checked the pressure on my trailer tires today as I'm leaving for a show in the morning. The info on the sidewalls say 65 psi cold. All four tires are more than 65, but less than 70 (hard to get it to the gnat's ass on the gauge I've got). Anyway, should I let pressure out to get them all down to 65 psi, or will they be okay as is? I just took the trailer in a month or so ago for it's annual check up. The shop checked air pressure then, so I'm assuming since they're professionals the current psi should be okay. Or am I assuming too much? Maybe their air pressure gauge is more accurate than mine? Is the difference even enough to worry about?

Many mechanical gauges only have an accuracy of + or- 3 %, particularly the pencil type. You're lucky to get within three or four lbs of an actual measurement. You're good to go.
Just remember not to let any air out of a tire when it is warm to meet the cold air markings.

I am sure they are OK far as age, ect.goes, but be sure no matter what you do about air pressure to know the age of those tires!
We aired ours up last weekend to the maxx air pressure,50 psi on our 2H trailer, and had a blowout, see my thead thanking Officer HIcks. In that case, air pressure didn't mean squat in 13 yr old tires!!!!!DUUUUUU to us.
