I bought a tailbag from tailgator http://www.tailgator.co.uk/tg/pages/tailbagorder.html several years ago, I wrote them a nice email and enclosed a picture. I noticed that Daisy and I were on their testimonials page along with many others. Recently my mini horse has taken to playing with Daisy's tail, and the tail bag has finally given up after several years of 24/7 use and NEVER falling off or leaving the tail tangled. It is truly worth the extra cost, there is nothing like it in the US. Anyhow, my new bag arrived today, and I opened it, removed the tailbag, and was about to throw away the package & insert, when I decided to look at it for fun (after all I know how to use a tail bag!) and what did I see on the packaging, but the picture of Daisy and me with the letter I had written! We're famous! Hooray!
Buy one of these tail bags, you will NEVER buy another type ever again. I tried em all before finding the tailgator. Daisy has a white tail, and it STAYS white with this bag. It's waterproof, breathable, and stretch. It stays on through turnout, fly season, and miniature horse warfare.

Hi Angelmay - Congrats on your fame. They should have given you a free new bag (IMO)for using your picture. My Border Collie cross dog likes to "ski" behind my horses...Doesn't seem to bother the horses, but their tails are skimpy and scraggly at the bottom. Do you think one of the Tail Gators would last through doggy teeth? I've tried several brands of tail bags, and they all rip right away. Thanks!

I don't mind being on the package, I'm pretty proud actually. They do state on their website that they will post pictures you send them. I guess that if you give them a picture, it becomes theirs to use.
As far as dog teeth, I'm not sure. It says on the package (I've looked at it a dozen times!) that it may not work if you have lots of thorn bushes or barbed wire. Dog teeth aren't that bad, but I think this tail bag would be the best contender. Its the neatest fabric, it's breathable, and smooth, almost like skin, or leather. It even comes in new a roll-up style, that way your dog can't get to it, unless he's hanging waaay up by the horse's butt. The bag doesn't bop between the horse's legs when you ride. You can get iron on patch kits to repair it if you need. My first bag stood up to mini horse teeth for a good 6 months before it finally developed a fatal hole. IMHO they're the best tail bag that money can buy, even if you have to pay the higher GBP. Shipping was free anyhow.
