You may want to call ahead. My girlfriend Danw, went down there two years ago, and ended coming home with a HUGE ticket/fine for not having an escort through a few of those tunnels. Good luck! Let us know what you find out.

Shoot your in Coarsegoal? I'm in Angels Camp, maybe we should plan a camp trip up to Kerrick corrals off of Crabtree Rd. on 108. Have you ever been there? Fell in love with the Emigrant Wilderness last summer! 3 of us rode up into Rosasco Lake up Devils Mt. (by Cherry Creek) the old trail into Pingree. We were like mountain goats coming back down, and come to find out one of the packers later told us no one has taken a horse that way in years. We felt pretty darned proud of ourselves as the packers were all freaked out that we took that way. Come to find out there is a new trail around that mountain that bypasses Rosasco Lake and goes straight into Pingree.
