Interesting...so they are wall/table mounted? Seems inconvenient for anyone that doesn't keep there horse at home and has to cart all that stuff around. I would think that they would be awkward to handle. I'd love to see them in action sometime though.

You can also get a belt mounted version that hangs on your belt, but to me that sort of defeats the reason for having the motor and clipper head separated. I doubt it would be any less convenient than other full size clippers. Just get a plastic tote bin and keep all your clipping supplies in there.

I was talking with another groomer yesterday at work, who is engaged to a blade sharpener/clipper repair guy. She told me that while the KK's are excellent clippers, they are also the most expensive to maintain and repair because of their design. So about $75-100 for a tuneup. So I think I will stick with my Andis for now...just another thing to consider though if you are in the market for clippers.
