I don't post very often but am a faithful reader. Some of my newbie questions have gotten some pretty rude answers. Sometimes I've been tempted to answer back, but then I just figure that is what the big red X in the corner is for..........delete.
I agree with the others it is easy to be rude when you are just looking at a monitor, and the written word always come across more harsh.

Too funny! Gard, please don't let this run you off. I do appreciate any and all advice. I too wish that people would take the stand that some have, and I say if they want to be rude and what-not, then just go away. I don't always post regularly but do whenever I feel the need. I sure don't want to made a fool for asking a question or made to feel a fool whenI give my little 2 cents worth of advice on what WORKS for ME. Keep on Gard!

I agree with what everyone else is saying Gard, please don't leave. You have obviously found your calling here and have a loyal following, and you have the time to respond to almost every post so no one feels left out. I admire that and appologize if I did anything to upset you.
With respect to HW, I know just how you and Brad feel. I know I'm not very smart, being a cowboy and all, but I still have feelings and every time I say something stupid, he makes fun of me too. Just because he builds probably the nicest custom living quarters around and gets to see up close more brands of trailers than most of us see driving down the road, he gets to thinking he knows what he's talking about and pokes fun at those of us who just try to bluff our way thru and it is embarrasing to me to be made a fool of in public. Oh and CRG, I also appreciate your sage comments to almost any issue. They have always added a lot and I know you think you get a lot of threads killed without justification, but
please don't let that stop your input. It wouldn't be the same without you.
Just to prove that I am sincerely sorry for my behavior, I am going to extend an olive branch and make a special tribute to you, Gardner, and to Brad and his trailers, during the March 7 rodeo performance at Houston. Please plan to tune in and watch. If you live out in the boondocks and don't get it on tv, log on to HLSR.com for a re-cap. Once again, I'm sorry.
Keep those cards and letters coming folks, my success depends on it.

Wow. I'm impressed with EVERYone. When I first started this site I thought I would answer as many questions as I could. The learning curve was steep and I soon figured out I knew nothing compared to many of you out there. So I stay out of everyone's way so I don't say something stupid. Now you only see me when I have to put on my badge. Barney Fife would be proud and you all give me an excuse to load my bullet once in awhile.

Amen to everyone. We all come here to get advice, ask questions and last thing that should be happening is for anyone to be downing someone for there opions/advice. Remember, that is what it is, your opinions and your advice. I for one really don't enjoy reading people getting ridiculed or bashed. Keep on keeping on and as my mama always said, do unto others and they will do same unto you!

There you go!! Put some stock racks/sides on there and hit the road!! My dad had a Spotted Poland China boar hog that could jump/crawl up into the back of a 1956 Chevrolet pickup, specially if he thought he was going on a mission....
