Inside you can flip the breaker back on/replace fuse without having to go out (if it trips or blows a fuse it'll always be raining, cold, or dark). And like they said it's protected from the elements if it's inside.

All true LQs I've seen used a breaker panel that isn't weatherproof anyway. And a lot of them use the combo converter/breaker assembly that has to be flush mounted in a cabinet front.
