Hello all!  Yeah me!  I just got confirmation on my new trailer. I thank Jessica at truck and Trails..she was wonderful, nice and really worked with me.  I get a 2007 Kiefer Built, 9 SW, 3 Horse slant with stud stall!  I am going from a 1998 Sundowner with 8 Sw, 4 horse - living area was cramped even with just me...I went with this brand as they are know pretty well and I will only be using is occassionaly.  I am going to go to GA to trade out the trailers and am very excited!  Camping, here I come!!

Go to truckandtrails.com  Jessica is who I worked with and she was FANTASTIC.  My trailer is a very good trailer.  Just the LQ was too cramped for me, my beau and my 3 yr old daughter.  All works on it, so if you get the opportunity get with her.  I go this coming Saturday to trade out.

well, it is 563 miles from my place to theirs, but after doing the math, it would be way cheaper to drive on down and make the trade.  Transport company was going to charge $1.65 per mile....I think not!!!

I would make the drive. That way you can make sure everything works on the trailer & there are no issues between the truck/trailer. Congratulations!

Yea, go pick it up yourself, don't let them deliver it to you. There will something wrong when it gets to you and it will be too late to correct it without some big hassle. Think about it, it ain't like you won't have anywhere to stay overnite when you go pick it up! It's a LQ trailer!! ENJOY!

Yeah, you'all are right!  I am planning on leaving Friday afternoon to head down.  I can spend about $300 versus the delivery charge of $900... I also want some instsructions this time on how to use my trailer(i.e. how everything works in the LQ).  Last time I had the Sundowner delivered (free charge for close to 600 miles) but had NO idea how to work anything...

Happy Camping!
