In March, your days to geld (according to the almanac) are the 4th, 5th and 31st. The signs should be close to Pisces (I'm reading this from the almanac, not professing to be an expert) which means the 6th and 7th would still be good also. I was told last year when I faced this same dilemma that there was a couple day leeway one side or the other of the sign. I made the appointment with my vet fully expecting him to scoff at me, but he does the same with his own animals. I figure, what could it hurt?

Edited to add: the sign is in Aries on the 10th.

We cut our calves according to the moon. We do it right in between, if it's low they will bleed like a son of a gun at the sac if it's high the ear marks will bleed all day, just in between it's perfect...........always done out cattle that way don't know about horses maybe the same thing as it has something to do with the moons pull on the animals, earth, etc...........
