I got me one of theses as a gift in Sept. It's awesome! The only issue I'm having is........................

Since this truck is up to date with safety and emission issues for the 2010 year, the area where my knees sit when I"m driving, has "knee bolts",  which supposedly puts you in the correct position for the air bags if you crash, and has left no place for the brake control box for my trailer.

Does anyone, or has anyone have one or seen one and where they have installed it on their 2007 Dodge truck?

Thanks for any help all!

No, I can not do this, that's what I was trying to say. The new knee bolt prevent that, at least when I tow, I have to pull the seat all the way forward and it won't leave any room. I don't see how it can leave any room for anyone regardless of leg room or size of person sitting and driving in that particular seat. That's why I was hoping someone could recommend or has seen how they are now mounted. I don't think they can be mounted like the typical way....

Mine is mounted where the previous poster said on my 07 Ram 2500 but I don't have a reason to move the seat all the way forward so it clears just fine. Another area I scouted that looked like it might work is the ledge just under the temp/fan controls... depending on what kind of controller you have and how your mounting bracket works. Good luck.

Yup, I was thinking that same area too. I don't want to have to cut into anything under there, so it may stick out a bit. I just don't see how anyone can put a brake control box in the typical spot. I'm 5' 1" so I cannot reach the pedals unless that seat is all the way forward..............
