Here in Michigan the state trail camp fees are.$20. a night for numbered sites.$6. each person for unnumbered sites. The camps provide a hand pump for water and a outhouse.I am interested in what other States charge.

In Minnesota, I believe horse campsites are $15 per night at both State Parks and State Forests. Some are reservable, some are first-come, first-served. Some have water, some have buildings, most or all have toilets. But, don't forget your $21 horse trail pass.
In North Dakota, I've never paid a fee for anything, except the National Park.

I'm not sure about other state parks in Arkansas that have equine camping,but at Village Creek State Park the horse camp site fee is $17/day,winter rates $8.50,this is for full hookups.There are 3 excellent stables with a $5/day stall fee.To just park and ride is $5 a trailer or $50/year.

I was thinking this thread would really take off. It would be nice if more people posted the fees they pay where they go riding. I think it is interesting.

Ohio: Van Buren State Park $14/night from now until 4/1/08. Looks as if the fee is increasing to $16/night at that time. East Fork State Park is $22/night from now until 4/1/08, increasing to $24.

Missouri State Forests that have horse camping do not have a fee. We camp a lot at Whispering Pines (a Private Campground) that charges $25 a night for full hookups including covered stalls for two horses.

Whispering Pines is near Salem, Mo. I think they have alot of the same trails as Big Creek. They just don't have organized rides. Don't know anything about the other places.

the state parks in NY are changeling for parking for cars and a day pass for horse cars $5--- horses$ 70 they have water and picnic table and outhouses

In Ohio at the Hocking Hills horse camp (Old Mans Cave area), I think there is still no charge. Buts its been a couple years since I camped there. It is primitive with just water and pit toilets.
