Like many of you, I have posted questions about products and information that I have needed for my trailers. The responses have been most helpful, and many of you have spent your valuable time on my behalf.

I am very grateful for your efforts. To show my appreciation, I intend to offer  notariety on your behalf, so that others are made aware of your endeavors and may consider your businesses when they are in need of your services.

Richard Smith at Select Trailer Co. in Shelbtville TN. is a person that went out of his way to provide me with some accessories I needed. Through his parts man Roger, my order was shipped the same day, the pricing was very fair and I was treated with respect. I will certainly contact him again with future needs.

Michael Bozeman, the Wicksburg store manager for Dixie Horse and Mule Comany, went out of his way to provide me with information I needed for my trailer. He e-mailed other contacts on my behalf, and followed up with a personal phone call. This is especially generous, considering I have never purchased anything from his company. If I lived in his area, he and his company would be first on my list.

I urge you all to post the results of your favorite "helper". A small data base can be offered to those with similar needs/questions. This would be more relevant than ranting about the companies that have messed with you. Also I don't know if Dave would allow a list of the rogues.

Do you think this idea has merit?

I'd like to give a big ol' ATTABOY to YOU Gard.

Your thorough and detailed explanations on the care of aluminum have helped me considerably in the search for my new trailer, and they will continue to help me  for many years to come.

Thank You.

What a good ide for a thread. Seems everyone's always posting about problems - it's nice to have a chance to read all the good things people have to say!

My "attaboy" goes to Randy Burmaster & Ken Feagin Trailer sales in Fletcher, NC. He took time to answer a gazillion questions both before and after the sale and was extremely helpful getting my trailer in an out in record time after severe hail damage last spring. Their "Service after the Sale" was an added bonus.

My attaboy goes to Dixie Horse And Mule. They went the extra mile to help me replace the broken drop down window on my Exiss trailer when my local dealer...Lewis Trailer Sales...refused. They WILL get my business should I buy another trailer! 26

My ATTABOY Award goes to Marty from Uncle Bob's Trailer Sales. Marty was really helpful and told me what I needed and didn't need on my trailer for my use, when I ordered My Trails West A few years back. Marty and Mona  worked wonderfully with me from the first time I talked to them to the time and I got it home. I'm from Wisconsin and I will go back again when It's time to buy another. Thank you for a great Idea for a post

I agree Gard deserves an "attaboy". He was very helpful when I asked questions about my alum. floor corrosion and pits. I couldn't find any info on the net through my searches or calls to repairs shops, trailer places etc. When we called Hart and asked what they recommend. They told us to go read Horse Trailer World. There was a thread on there about alum floor corrosion. They said the guy explaining what to do about pits and corrosion knows what he is talking about. Well guess what, that was MY post and he was referring to GARD. So thanks again Gard

I would like to post an attaboy to the folks at Sierra interiors in Bristol IN. Danny Comadoll has been most helpful in providing the information I needed for my trailer's interior, calling me personally to see what he could do to help. Great service, excellent product.

I have a Sierra interior in my Elite and had a small issue at the Congress. Put a call into Sierra and they had their mobile repair team there in minutes. What a great group of folks to work with. They had everything handled in no time at all and all is good now.

My attaboy goes to the state parks and federal agencies who furnish me a place to pursue my favorite pastime, riding, and all of the people behind the scenes that enable the trail systems without any fanfare. Well maybe not so much to the Corps of Engineers who always seem a little condescending on equestrian activities, at least in my area.

I would like to give an attaboy to Don Smith at Dixie Horse and Mule Co, for his support and latest fundraising efforts from retailers for Bill Inman. As we have read in other postings, Bill and his wife are going cross country in an effort to promote good will and the values of the common man. They recently are experiencing financial short falls and could use some extra funds.

With Don's efforts, and Dave Mattern and his wife Gail's organizational skills, the Inman family may be able to continue their trip a little further.

Thank you Don, Dave and Gail

Thanks Gard! It's my pleasure! I hope some of the other dealers will step up. I know these folks were pretty short, and I really like and respect what they are doing. Thanks, DON SMITH, DHMCO
