I have run across what may be a serious problem with my (new to me) 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. It apparently came with a factory lift kit which our local aftermarket truck guru place won't touch. The Dodge dealers in my area are not known for their service departments so I'm hesitant to take the truck in to see if they can lower it.
My gooseneck trailer is adjusted as high as it will go. Loaded on the truck, it still sits slanted toward the back although the back doesn't normally drag. What can I do? Has anyone else had an issue like this? My trailer is a 2004 Ponderosa gooseneck stock trailer. Thanks!

There are NO factory lift kits. They all come the same height unless somebody lifted the truck. There is a TSB (Tech Bulliten)on removing the rear spring blocks and dropping the factory height down in the rear about 1.5 to 2 inchs. Not very hard to do.

My factory Dodge 4X4 was too high for my gn to ride level, so Dodge used their "lowering kit" and fixed it for free. I've never heard of a "lift kit" from Dodge. I'm sure glad my local dealer was nice and did it free.
