It says FRP, but in my line of work, FRP is fiberglass reinforced plastic.  Derned tough stuff - almost indestuctable.  It's gonna be quieter and cooler but heavier than aluminum.  Looks like the frame work is aluminum.  Looks like a nice little trailer.

When Merhow was using FRP it was fiberglass reinforced plywood.

the ad says reinforced plywood.......Isn't this the same technology of some boats? But the trailer looks like it is in excellent shape!! considering it is a 1996 model

The key thing to look for in an FRP trailer is that they were completely sealed around windows, doors, etc when they were made.  You can take a quarter & tap all along the outside of a window or door - if there is a spot where it wasn't sealed properly & water has gotten in, it will be a different sound.  When water has seeped it, it will cause the FRP to delaminate - NOT a good deal since you can't replace a small section, it would have to be major.
