Gunnerhorse,

You know, you gotta love the Internet. It is so wonderful to find forums like these and the nice people who populate them and are willing to share info.  :>)

I did see that Titan weighs quite a bit more than my Bison-- I forgot to pull out my paperwork and check today, but I think it's almost 1500 lbs. more (according to Titan's website, the Avalanche II two-horse is about 4300 lbs). I tow with a Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi, so I'll definitely check into that. Luckily, our horses aren't huge, and I rarely tow both of them together (or very far when I do).

The recounting of your accident gave me the shivers. It's scary enough to drive around with your kids in the car, but when you're pulling your 1,000 lb. best friend... the worst is never far from your mind. Takes guts to keep towing. Hope your horse was okay... and do I understand he/she still gets on a trailer? Amazing the trust they put in us.
