I'm looking at this trailer I found for sale. Haven't seen it in person yet. Just wondering if anyone can offer any info on them. Is it a well made trailer?? I have read to stay away from the Exiss sport models(not sure why), but nothing about this one??

Also it has an alum. floor with mats on top. Could I put the bed liner stuff(like you do for trucks) on the alum and then the mats on top, so I don't have to worry about the urine ruining the floor??

Can you post a link?

Urine won't ruin a floor just like that. It would have to sit there, stay wet over a long period of time. By using some bedding and occasionally cleaning it out,the floor should be just fine. Horses don't pee in a trailer nearly as much as cattle, yet most livestock trailers are aluminum and the floors hold up.

Bet this is it, huh?

I have a 2000 Exiss 2 horse with a 4 ft short wall LQ. It is a fine trailer for the money. The only problem I had was with one of the dropdown windows. The company replaced both of them and arranged for installation at no cost to me, even though the trailer was no longer under warranty.

I had bad luck with my Exiss, won't buy another..  Mine leaked awful and the dealer never could get it fixed..  Took it there multiple times..  Be careful..  If you have a little extra to spend go with a 4 star or something of better quality..

I have found that if you buy a 4Star,you will spend more than "a little extra."

I have a 96 Exiss maximun and I haven't had any problems with it at all. Other than replacing rubber stoppers for the drop down windows...
