I'm steering away from an aluminum floor if at all possible (see thread on maintaining aluminum floor), and was wondering what companies offer Rumber, WERM, etc on new trailers. I know that Hawk and Dream Coach offer Rumber, and 4-Star offers WERM, but I've scoured the listings on here and those are the only ones I have seen offered with these types of flooring. I believe that Sundowner also offers a Suncoated floor, but is this standard on all of their late model trailers? Are there any other brands to consider?

SunCoat WAS standard on all late model Sundowner floors. Recently that has been changed. Any Sundowner trailers ordered from this point forward will not have SunCoat on the floor.

I purchased an used Sundowner with the Suncoat lining in the horse compartment. Is there some reason they don't offer it anymore or is it just an option you have to pay for? It doesn't look as sturdy as the linex lining in my truck but I thought it looked like a good idea. My floor seems to be in good shape. Is there something I should be looking out for? Thanks for any input. I always use lots of bedding and I clean the bedding out after a trip to make sure it has soaked up any manure or urine.

Just to add one that hasn't been mentioned already: American Spirit offers Rumber as an option in their trailers.
If you were buying new, and really wanted Rumber or WERM, I don't understand why you couldn't order it as an option on any brand trailer. I am sure there are some that don't offer it, but my question would be, why not?

Whoaboy,
I did my WERM 1 yr ago and will not own another trailer without it, hose and go cleaning, anyway 3H LQ w/mangers $818.00, BUT I had a buddy get his trailer done just recently, we have same identical trailers, and he used same company his cost $1200.00, dealer told his cost of product has gone up 50% in last year. anyway still worth the $$$$. NO MORE PULLING MATS.
