Subject: trailer brand

I am looking for a new trailer and have priced a 7'7'' tall by 7'6'' wide 3 horse slant in a 4 star and a similar cimarron. The price on the cimarron is about $5000 less than the 4 star. Is the 4 star worth that much more money? Also I have large horses- 18 hands. Will that size slant be large enough or should I look at another configuration? I don't really want a trailer the size of a 4 horse though.
Thanks!

I am not positive, but would bet that the 4Star has more reliability. It's a long-time, well known brand. Maybe it's me, but I don't know that Cimmaron has been around very long. That's not to say they don't build a great trailer.

Things like hinges, latches, bracing, window & door quality would be the places I would check when comparing.

And...  there's always the "You get what you pay for".  Unless the manfuacturer spends a great deal of money advertising and sponsoring events instead of research & production.
