We found a really nice pony for our girls.  We are going to pick her up in conjunction with a scheduled trip.  Our trip home consisted of a night at a hotel and I am wondering if this pony would be ok being left on the trailer overnight?  We will pick her up in the late afternoon then drive for about 5 hours before stopping for the night.  Will she be ok?  She is tiny and the trailer is big.  Should I just untie her and let her move around the trailer?  Should I bed the trailer once we stop like a stall?

Without knowing her needs, bed the trailer like a stall.  My show horses would never pee without shavings.  My pasture ornaments would pee on concrete.

If you don't tie her take the halter off, then she won't get hung on the trailer and thrash/flip.  (Also if someone were to try and take her they'd be short a halter.)

If you can I'd use a baby monitor or walkie talkie so I could hear what was going on.  This would alert you to someone messing with her.
