They are beautiful horses...love the ears! I'm sure if you google, you may find a few in the USA. I am also sure they are big bucks. BTW...did you know that they are gaited.

I've read all the articles I have been able to find on the 'net. Yes, I know they are gaited and quiet. This is one of the reasons I'm interested. The cost to import is very high. A while back I found a link for someone who was breeding and selling them here in the US. I was a little concerned about the integrity of their breeding program and now I can't even find the info on them. I hoped to find a reliable breeder through this forum or at least someone who's had personal experience with them. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for contact in FL. I'm not sure if that was in my file but I will check. Also, I think the Icelandics are great horses. The Mangalarga has my interest based on size, versatility, temperament, and of course uniqueness in this area. The original breeder I had come across was either in Colorado or California. I got the impression they were doing some cross breed breeding.
