Anyone pulling with an 07 Chevy or GMC Duramax? How's the gas mileage? Any problems with the truck so far?

Hi, I have been lurking around here for awhile now and saw this post. We have an 02 and an 07 DMax and yes, I too think you will like the truck. The Allison Transmission is great for hauling live weight and the 07 DMax has a few new bells and whistles on the diesel that gives it plenty of torque and power. Without the trailer on the hiway we can get about 20mpg on both trucks. They both also get around 14.5-16mpg pulling a fully loaded Jamco 4H Slant GN trailer, just depends if we are on 1-5 or going up 80.

From our mechanics point of view, the 07 is a significantly better designed diesel engine than the 02. Our 02 is still going strong, though we did have early problems with the injectors and glow plugs...dealer fixed under warranty and gave the new parts a "lifetime" warranty under single owner.

Good Luck!
