Anyone out there have one?  Hear of one?  They seem to be a West Coast brand but there is one for sale in my neck of the woods- an XTR.  This is a two horse slant with one of the largest stall configurations I've seen (12 foot long wall, 11 1/4 foot diagonal in stall).  I've been to the website and am impressed with finishing touches (eg. alum. floor 'rhinolined' already so no need to worry about urine), swing out saddle rack, tons of lights etc... thing even comes with a water tank!

Any comments on structural integrity?  How do these things hold up/pull etc... I have found positive comments on the steel trailers they make but alum. is an entirely different trailer from a structural standpoint and couldn't find references for this model.  Also am hauling a large (16.3), heavy horse so need strength!  Thanks for any feedback!!!

Well logan coach is a very good brand name I agree.the strutural integrity is very strong and will last a long if you take care of it.if it is a small gooseneck it will pull easily but make sure your truck can pull the weight of the trailer! I would ask the buyers if you could try your horse in it and make sure it fits him.But you don't want him to have to much room to move then it might be harder do pull if he pacing around and stuff.

Logan Coach is made in Logan Utah.  They have been building trailers for a long time. They have a large plant in Logan. They have traditionally built a Steel trailer. But a  few years ago started to make Aluminum.

I don't know anybody with an aluminum trailer. But there are lots of Logan Coach steel trailers around.

I have a 2007 logan Coach Ultra 13' sw, mudroom pkg. and it is a 4 horse.
the trailer is 8' wide so my horse fits good and he is pretty big.the trailer I have is an XTR and the frame is steele and the skin is aluminum.I love it!!!!!!!!!!The LQ part is very nice and is alot of roomm at an afordable price. The trailer is pretty heavy but nothing a dodge 3500 cant handle.
Her is a site that is a trailer almost exactly like mine.

Wow, that thing is HUGE!  I'm glad you like it.  I really like the way Logan seems to take care of details.  I spoke with a rep. and am convinced (along with my husbands input- he has a structural engin. degree) that the extruded alum. planks are stonger than the flat sheets of alum in most trailers.  Is yours 7 feet or 7.5 high?  How big are your horses?  Congrats.!

How is that polished aluminum holding up so far? What is the maintenance like on that vs. the painted or natural?

I'm looking at a BP 2 horse XTR- nothing fancy, just need room for a large draft/TB cross and a smaller mare. Hard to find a slant that can accomodate my big boy who will be 16.3 and wider than average. The Logans have the largest stall length by far, next closest was Merhow and Hawk. They are a very pretty trailer, but I need tough as well as my colt is STRONG also wondering how the fit and finish will hold up- eg latches, seams, windows, hardware etc... guess they've been around a while with their steel trailers. Sounds like you use yours quite a bit! Thank you for the input as well.
