Just wanted to say that if anyone buys a small LQ trailer like I did a couple of years ago and the dealer talks you out of the eletric jack, tell them phooey and get an electric jack. I hoisted my trailer on and off the truck and now can just use the switch. What a relief when I am hot and tired from what I would rather spend my energy on - riding!

We have a electric jack and thought it was the cream of the crop! Then a friend bought a new trailer with a hydralic jack, wayyyy cool!!! feel like we are in the stone age with electric.Go to equilizer trailer jacks about 1300.00 for single jack.

You guys with the hydraulic jack aren't trying to burst my bubble are you? <Grin> I am happy you are happy but I paid half the price for the electric jack vs. hydraulic and I am still tickled pink not to have to move that trailer with my own power. I have a little LQ and think the electric jack is just fine.
I paid a little under $800 for the jack installed by my trailer dealer. It is a little hard to tell because I had other work done and the labor was lumped all together.
