You could also check with JCPenney or Sears or Toys R' Us. You might also have a local woodcarver that makes them. I found one for my daughter at a craft show in my town. Good luck!!

Do you have a local craftsman in your community that can make one from a pattern, we did that for our daughter and she is 21 and we still have it. She was 9 mos when we got it. Good luck.

How old is your g-daughter? When my kid's were little they had a rocking horse that was on spring's. I don't know if they make them any more. But they had hours and hours of fun riding "Dobbin". Look in Wal-Mart...they may have some for the Christmas selling.

found it! This is the site we ordered a rocking horse from last year and it was very nice; and I just ordered one a few minutes ago for the other set of grand kids.
