I HAVE A 16 FT. CALICO GN TRAILER. I LOANED IT OUT TO TRANSPORT MARES FOR BREEDING. AS I WAS GOING TO HOOK UP LAST NIGHT I NOTICED THE HOOK-UP IS BENT ABOUT 1" OR LESS. HOW MUCH TROUBLE TO STRIGHTEN.

Which part of the "HOOK-UP" are we talking about? Have a picture of it? Could be minor, could be more significant depending on what's damaged. Need more info...

ps - typing in all capital letters is commonly referred to as "screaming" - kinda hard to read. Just a subtle hint.

The entire shaft that comes down into the bed. I have been out of town a few days why i haven't got back to you.
If it is bent BACK, as in "was hit by the truck that was supposedly being backed under it" then the gusset plates are probably bowed out, or the welds might have let go. If it is bent FORWARDS then the welds on the gusset plates have almost certainly let go. I think I'd want the plates cut off and replaced. PLZ get it to a competent weld shop, they MIGHT be able to take the whole sub frame off and do it on a bench.
