Hi everyone! I have been looking for quite some time at used trailers. All I really want is a 3h GN slant with a bed, shower, and AC. Don't care if it is steel or aluminum. The problem is I am newly divorced and can only afford a payment of $150/month. I have talked to my local bank and I can finance something through them for five years but if I do that I have to find something priced in the 10k or under range, which as far as I can tell is next to impossible. Is there a different financing option I could be looking at? Can you finance for more than 5 years? If I could, what price range can I be looking at? Thank you for any responses.

Hugo, the key to financing under these conditions is to buy a "new" trailer that the bank will see some value in. They will finance a new one quicker than a used one unless you have a big down-payment. You can buy a new basic tailer and install those basic items you mentioned yourself for not much more $$. I just bought a "new" 3H GN (steel) with 6ft shortwall that we are going to convert to LQ ourselves, and the payments are 150 mo for 4 yr. Its a start! Good luck!

Most dealers will handle the financing for you. new or used. of course, you might pay more interest than perhaps your bank or credit union, but thats something you'll have to look at.
