I believe in '99 you would have had a 6 pin plug. Color coded like this- https://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring-6-way.aspx There isn't a wiring diasgram per se. Wire went into the neck, up to roof rail, and to rear. Then down rear post and forward underneath to brakes.
