I would like to know what to use for the ceiling of the living quarters that I am finishing? I thought I would use FRP board...I wanted smooth surface and after checking all over, I can only find the pebbly textured  surface and not the smooth surface. I would have to special order that and it cost more. What else could I use that works well?

I had the same problem.  What to use?  I finally setteled on the white hardboard that one would use around a tub.  I got it at Lowe's and after I installed it, I think it worked out great. Email me if you would like some pictures.  I have yet to figure out how to attach a picture.

I used the smooth tub surround too. It was easy to put up. I caulked in bewtween the panels. I have pics on a previous post.
