I was at the show in Baltimore where I saw the Shetron Trailer. I know they sell trailers at these shows. But, I was shopping and looking for information. Any time I spend over 40K I due my homework. On first glance it seems like one heck of a trailer. They did not have any literature. I went on there web page (it is so 1995) no information to speak of. I saw on another thread that they sell out of the factory. Does anyone know anything about these trailers and can you get a better deal going thru the factory.

My friend bought one last summer and loves it! Shetron sort of took over Collin Arndt Trailers. They look like a great trailer, probably up there in quality with Elite, and 4-Star.http://www.shetronmanufacturing.com/Call them up, they're great people--I've talked to them about trailer repairs before.

I am a dealer for Shetron and am located in Central PA. They are great trailers and I believe they are up the with those BIG brands they just dont have the name YET!!! We are working very hard to get the name out there so it is great to see it on here getting some recognition. Give me a call and I can hook you up with a great deal. www.treashorsetrailersales.com Their website is a little dry with info but we can answer any of the questions that you may have, and if we cant we will find out for you ASAP. We can order any of the trailers from their line and most are ready within 3-4 weeks with the LQ's taking about 5 weeks at most. Get in touch with me if you have any questions or would like some more info. We did have literature at the show but were only giving it out if asked for since it does cost quite a bit to print the nice stuff out. I look forward to hearing from any and all of you in the near future.

I know this is a really old post but I saw it and I love my trailer so I figured id share my opinion on the matter. "Shetron trailers" now Shetron Custom Trailers has a new owner and new location, they also have a new website with lots of information and pictures, much more up to date. When I started looking for a trailer I also did my research. They are very personable, and knowledgeable. I of course had lots of questions since its not a well known brand, so the owner invited me to take a tour of their workshop where they were actively building a trailer. I liked being able to see what goes into the trailers. I now own and am very proud of my trailer. My trailer was custom made just for me with my specs and ideas.

I looked at these trailers with a friend, who was told the same thing. They are much more comparable to Bison than to an Elite or a 4 Star. I'm not saying they aren't a good trailer, I am just saying that the difference between them is like apples to oranges, although they are all fruit. Elite, 4 Star, Bloomer, Twister & Platinum are top of the food chain. Shetron has a ways to go to catch up with them.

I do not own a Shetron trailer, so cannot vouch for quality of trailer itself. But whenever we've called Linda at Shetron for something as we were re-doing one of our trailers, we've had absolutely excellent service for a reasonable price. Easy to reach by phone, ready when they said. Really good company to deal with.
