I have a 1994 Sundowner Showman to sell and am trying to arrive at a fair price. It is made of galvanized steel and is a gooseneck, dual axle, 2H straight load with dressing room, slide out tack rooms under the mangers, and has a new lift. The interior sections look new. The exterior is is good shape but like anything 10 years old could use a little sprucing up. I live in SE Missouri. Any assistance on a price is appreciated. I am thinking of listing for about $4900.

Condition will be 90% of the selling price. If the tires are good and it looks ready to use. Ask $5000. Wait a time to judge the interest and depending on the response and your desire to sell ... bargain to a mutual price...

Another point ... If you looked on this site, similar trailers were / are offered for around $6000. Can't tell what the actual selling price is. But it depends again on your motivation ... speed or price ...

Go back a page or two on this forum and look under " What is '95 Sundowner worth". You can see what mine was like and I was asking $7500. I knew I would be lucky to get it,but it was a starting place. It gave me some room to dicker on price. I had it for sale since the 3rd of March when I ordered my new trailer. I knew I could get more out of it selling it outright than trading it in. But, my new trailer is about finished (1-1 1/2 wks), and I sold it for $6750. My salesman was helping me by telling people about it even though he didn't have it on his lot. Mine was in very good shape but like yours, after 10 yrs. it needed a few things done to it. I could have probaly gotten $7000 for it, but chose a sure sale. I would at least start at $6500. You can put obo or asking in your ad so people know that is not a firm price. They can make a lower offer and you can always come down on your price, but you can't go higher. Hope this helps.
