A bill, passed by the Senate, and working its way through the House will delay implementation of the ELD for livestock haulers for a year. BUT, the bill is part of a larger bill that the President has threatened not to sign unless it contains the necessary funding to build his wall. Good new/maybe bad news. https://www.drovers.com/article/senate-passes-one-year-eld-extension-livestock-haulers This bill references the ELD enforcement, until then livestock haulers must use paper logs. It still does not negate the requirement for "commercial" cowboys and cowgirls who are hauling for hire to have a CDL.
