After 11 years the seams on my trailer roof are just about exposed. I was camping last weekend and saw daylight sneeking through. Quick look on the roof and I can see the tape that they sealed the various pieces of aluminum sheets together with has melted in the sun and shrunk up. So it's time to crawl up there and scrap the old stuff off and lay down some new tape. I ordered some 4' wide Eternabond tape. I'll let you know how the process goes.

They recommend using a roller to press the tape on to the trailer. The roller lets you put more pressure than using your hand alone to set the adhesive. Not having a roller handy, I used a caster wheel from a chair. It worked well. Five years later, it's still water tight.
I did have some issues with the tape lifting at the edge of the trailer nose where exposed to the airflow when traveling. A strip of aluminum tape covering the Eternabond edge and down the side cured that.

Photobucket and other hosting sites have become a pain in the a$$ to deal with. And you have to host your photos someplace when you post to HTW. So I almost never post here anymore. Use Face book because I can post photos directly But I will post a couple from Yesterday, Just for you

Exactly my point. I used Photobucket for years to post photos on this site. I stopped because they became just too big a hassle to deal with and moved most all my social contact to Facebook I uploaded 3 photos yesterday and linked them to the above post. They looked just fine to me. But now I see they got changed out to the above message and Photobucket wants me to upgrade my account and pay them money in order to host photos for 3rd party website.
So I'm happy to chat now and again, But you won't see any photos here until HTW upgrades their server to host photos itself or I find an alternative solution.

Right Click on the photo image. Select Open in new Tab, Go to New tab. Right click on image and select Open in New tab and you can see the photos. At least in Chrome that is the work around
Photobucket wants folks to pay $399 per year to upgrade to provide 3rd party hosting. So that is not going to happen around my place.
